A day of nature and community
The Big Day Entre Ríos 2025 was much more than a birdwatching outing: it was a shared experience among people united by curiosity, excitement and love for nature. From the first morning, Estancia La Titina welcomed us with its serene environment, surrounded by grasslands, streams and groves where life reveals itself in every sound.
Between mates and binoculars, participants began the count at dawn. The day advanced with walks through trails, memorable sightings and the collective joy of adding new species to the October Big Day, the global event celebrating citizen science and connecting birders around the world.

The value of the unexpected
Although the night rain prevented us from visiting the Pantano Outdoor conservation project, nature offered another kind of spectacle. We continued exploring around La Titina and later drove to Ceibas, where the roads were still passable.
There, the reward came with new species for the list: roseate spoonbills, jacanas, herons and storks spreading their wings over the freshly flooded wetlands. Every sighting was celebrated as a small shared triumph.

A weekend to remember
The shared moments, the talks under the gallery and the group's energy made this outing something special. It was not just a bird count, but a true experience of connection — with nature and with others who share the same passion.
Those who participated left feeling they had been part of something bigger: a movement that, through each observation, contributes to the knowledge and conservation of Argentina’s biodiversity.
